Economic Development (CCED)
The Commerce Council by its very name is designed to allow social interchange of ideas and opinions for discussion and advice to the Chamber Board on bring better business programs to help Chamber members in areas such as:
In development of the Commerce Council, the Chamber Board approved new level of members called the INNOVATION, VISION AND LEGACY Member. As we expand into new areas of Economic Development we have expanded the membership levels to incorporate a wide cross section of businesses in the Parker area. We have added the Innovation and Vision levels to the already existing Legacy level developed in 2011 to attract more insight and participation especially in the area of Economic Development.
Economic Development focusing on residential growth and opportunities for new businesses to grow with Parker is vital in the current economic environment. We need participation from existing businesses to foster ideas and financial contribution for marketing Parker for both business and residential growth.
With a strong growing population our existing businesses can benefit as well as having the demographics needed for new business to find a home in Parker. Join us in making for a better business environment. The Chamber contracted Gary Lasater, well known business CEO and Civic Leader in the Parker area for over 16 years, as Commerce Council Consultant. He will be contacting our area business leaders and as one of our top area business, education, and community leaders to inviting you to join this special group.
