2008 Parker Chamber Signature Events
2008 Parker Country Festival
June 13 - 15, 2008
The Parker Country Festival has been the premier family event in Parker for more than
30 years. A signature event of the Parker Chamber of Commerce, the festival attracts
more and more people to Parker each year. 2007 witnessed the attendance of more
than 100,000 who attended the festival weekend to enjouy carnival rides, attractions,
music from live bands, arts and crafts exhibitors, and a food and beverage garden.
Kid's Country features a family stage with free entertainment as well as smaller child-
friendly bounce houses and activities. On Saturday, the Parker Country Festival Parade
travels down Mainstreet complete with floats, marching bands, horses and vintage cars.
Discount carnival tickets go on sale in the beginning of May.
2008 Parker Chamber Picture Show
June 28, July 12, July 26, August 16, and August 30
A signature event of the Parker Chamber of Commerce, the Parker Chamber Picture
Show brings Hollywood to O'Brien Park in Downtown Parker each summer. People
from across the Parker area gather to watch blockbuster movies on a giant inflatable
screen while enjoyuing the gorgeous summer weather. Join us for pre-show
entertainment, games and prizes, and your favorite movie munchies. The movies are
free and open to the public.
Tase of Parker

Imagine a day in which the incredible, top-notch restaurants in the Parker area come
together in one place where their finest fare is sampled by revelers from miles around. That
day is called the Taste of Parker, and it's one of Parker's most beloved annual traditions.
The event attracts thousands of attendees each year and showcases Parker's tantalizing and
ever-expanding dining scene.
2008 Parker Community Expo

Each fall, members of Parker's business community come together for the Parker
Community Expo, a one-day event that allows local establishments to display products
and services to consumers in Parker. More than 100 businesses participate, attracting
nearly 3,500 consumers who are eager to learn more about these local businesses. The Expo will again be combined with the Taste of Parker, ensuring the event will be
larger and more engaging than ever.
