The community calendar published by the Parker Chamber of Commerce at www.ThingsToDoInParker.com is a privately-funded platform designed to showcase events that bring our community together, promote local culture, education, recreation, and civic engagement.
To maintain a useful and inclusive resource for everyone, the following guidelines have been established to guide the curation of the events which appear. The Parker Chamber of Commerce uses its sole discretion to accept or deny any submitted event and reserves the right to final determination about whether any event will appear on the calendar.
Events That Are Generally Accepted
Events open to the entire community.
Arts and cultural events (concerts, art shows, theater performances).
Educational workshops and classes.
Events for children and families.
Recreation, fitness, health and wellness events and activities.
Volunteer opportunities and community service projects.
School and library programs.
Business education and training events.
Fundraisers and other special events for non-profit organizations.
Festivals and celebrations open to the public.
Environmental and conservation activities.
Events That Are Generally Rejected
Regular or recurring meetings of clubs, organizations, churches, etc.
Profane language or content.
Political events, rallies, protests, or campaign-related activities.
Gatherings for therapeutic or recovery purposes.
Commercial advertisements or promotional sales.
Sexually-provocative content.
Events that are private or invite-only.
Direct solicitation of commerce (i.e. yard sales, special discount sales, etc.)
Conduct or encouragement of activity that is illegal at the local or state level.
Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party.
Events sponsored by unlicensed or unregistered entities.
Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination of any kind.
This community calendar is provided as a public service. We make no warranties about event quality, safety, or outcomes. Users attend events at their own risk and discretion. Always verify event details directly with organizers before attending. Sometimes events may be canceled at the last minute, for weather or other reasons.
By submitting an event to our this calendar platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Submission Rights and Permissions
- You confirm that you have the authority to submit this event for publicity.
- You possess all necessary rights, permissions, and licenses for any content, images, or materials submitted.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, display, and distribute your event information.
- You are responsible for obtaining proper venue permissions, public permits, and are complying with all applicable laws.
- Any event with an admission fee must clearly state such.
Content Responsibility
- All information provided is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge.
- You are solely responsible for the content of your submission.
- Event details, dates, times, locations, and contact information are current and correct.
- You will promptly notify us of any changes, cancellations, or corrections needed.
Editorial Rights
- We reserve the right to edit submissions for clarity, length, grammar, and formatting while preserving the original intent.
- We may decline to publish events that do not meet our community guidelines.
- We generally will not post events that occur more than 5 miles outside the borders of Parker, Colorado. Certain exceptions may be made.
- We reserve the right to remove published events at any time without prior notice.
- Publication does not constitute endorsement of the event, organization, or content.
Liability and Disclaimers
- We are not responsible for event cancellations, changes, or inaccuracies in submitted information.
- We do not guarantee event publication or specific publication timing.
- We are not liable for any damages, losses, or issues arising from event attendance or participation.
- Event organizers are solely responsible for their events, including safety, insurance, and legal compliance.
- We do not screen or verify event organizers, venues, or content beyond basic guideline compliance.
